Dear Sprout Readers,
The 2012/2013 school year is upon us! We’d like to extend a warm welcome to all new students, and a hearty welcome back to returning students. We hope you have enjoyed your summers and are rested and prepared for a great school year at Friedman. In this issue, we bring you highlights of current Friedman students’ summer internships, recipes and helpful tips for eating well back at school, and a debate on whether exercise or diet is more important for weight loss. We also feature two recent alumnae, who tell us what they’re doing now and how Friedman helped them get there.
This issue celebrates our 4th anniversary of providing current nutrition, fitness, and wellness news, events and research to the Friedman School community and beyond. We are excited for another great year, and happy you will be reading along with us!
Enjoy the issue, and have a great start to the school year!
